As you may know the law that George Bush junior passed in 2006 against online gambling is about to come into full effect this December 1st. Does this mean that US players can no longer play online slots for real money?

No, this is not technically true. The law that Bush’s administration passed is not aimed against individual gamblers. It is targeted to those large companies that provide the financial services for players to deposits and withdraw from a gambling site. So, technically, you are in no danger to continue playing your favorite online slots.

Some are wondering if this law will stop all the available methods for US players to deposit and cash out? It is hard to say at this point. Obviously if these fail then gambling online is over for US players. But there is hope. Most of these companies moved offshore once the Gambling Ban law was passed. Since they are outside the US then the law does not apply to them and they can continue doing business as usual. The Gambling Ban law was ill-conceived they said because it has no power to stop wagers from taking place over the internet.

So, where can US players spin some reels? Currently there are only a few platforms left that accept US players. Last year Microgaming left the US market leaving a wide open field for lesser known companies to emerge. Luckily these new companies like Rival-Gaming and Top-Game have proven to be equally as professional as Microgaming. Rival slots are now considered probably the best slot machines on the internet.

So US players are and will continue to be accepted at Rival casinos. Here they will be able to deposit safely and confidentially, and when the good times roll, they are able to cash out with convenient methods.

Gambling online for US players just had a scare but such a big industry is very unlikely to go under because of a law that doesn’t really affect the way the business works.
